Frank Harris letters to Gifford Ernest, 1927-1930.

The collection consists of three letters to Gifford Ernest, typewritten for Frank Harris by his secretary, A. Krim, including: 21 Feb. 1927, with news of his work, and information about lies promulgated by Lord Alfred Douglas about Oscar Wilde, included in a preface to Harris' biography of Wilde; 14 June 1927, sending the post-receipts to help track down some lost books, with mention of his poor health and eyesight; 12 July 1930, concerning his revelation of Lord Alfred Douglas' relations with Oscar Wilde. All include original envelopes.
